Meet Amari, a Denver North High School graduate who is using scholarship support to train for a new career in Denver Health’s dental assistant program.

"It's super, super helpful," she said. "I feel like that's the financial part of it is what kind of helped me choose the program as well. College kind of seemed like too much for me personally."

Our new Economic Impact Study projects that Denver taxpayers’ investment through 2030 will generate more than $1.25 billion in increased earnings over students’ careers. Behind that number are students like Amari, building a brighter future.

🎓 Thank you to Denver taxpayers and our Prosperity Partners for helping students pursue opportunities after high school, whether through college or career training!

At Prosperity Denver Fund, we know education is a powerful tool for learning about the past and shaping a future where people are recognized, uplifted, and empowered.

In 2016, Denver City Council unanimously voted to recognize October 12 as Indigenous Peoples' Day with a commemorative holiday in city code, stating that Colorado is the ancestral homeland of 49 tribes, that the Denver metro area is home to the descendants of about 100 tribal nations and that Denver will "continue to promote racial equity and justice for all people and oppose discrimination towards Indigenous Peoples.”

"Greenhouse works with inspiring young leaders from underresourced communities. We support them through four years of university through mentorship, scholarships and flex funding in partnership with Prosperity Denver Fund. Together, we're collectively changing the landscape for underresourced communities, creating transformational change, generational change, and working with like-minded individuals. It's really important to have Denver at the forefront because we're putting money back into our community. That's something we focus on with all three levels in our programs. We not only work with college students, but also once they graduate, supporting them through their business, endeavors, entrepreneurship, and also creating projects that can go back to the community in Denver.”

Thank you, Greenhouse, for your passionate work to provide scholars with comprehensive success resources ranging from professional, personal, and community leadership to young leaders in Denver! ✨
