There was a small informal hunt hosted by Kim Ebel, I had to leave early so I don’t know all that was found but it was fun and a nice event that we should try to do more often.

The August Dayton diggers meeting is tomorrow the 18th from 7-9pm. The location is our usual meeting place - Sugarcreek Township building - 2090 Ferry Road, Bellbrook OH. The discussion 'theme' will be the "Dog Days of Summer" - please bring in found animal-related items such as dog tags, cat tags, etc.. See you there!

One of our members recently recovered a lost phone in a local river (lost while kayaking). The phone was able to be restored and works fine!

In recognition of 'America 250', please bring in patriotic finds! We will would like folks to bring in 'eyeball' or 'surface' finds - things found while detecting, but not with your detector.
