Are you eligible for the Judi Collinsworth Outstanding Junior Exhibitor Memorial Scholarship? 🐄🏆

Two National Junior Holstein Exhibitors will be recognized for their dedication and involvement in all aspects of the Holstein industry.

To apply, you must:

✔️ Be a Junior Holstein member

✔️ Be enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university

✔️ Have exhibited an animal at a National Junior Holstein Show this season

College students - 2 full internships are available for next summer. This is a great opportunity to work with awesome people. Applications are due at the end of this month.

Two full summer internship opportunities are available for the summer of 2027!

The Digital Content & Communications intern will help tell the story of Holstein Association USA through engaging digital content.

The Holstein Foundation Youth Programs intern will support youth leadership and dairy education programs that inspire the next generation of dairy leaders.

Both interns will play an active role in the 2027 National Holstein Convention and the inaugural Dairy Data Academy, working alongside industry leaders from across the country and building valuable professional connections.

Interns will receive furnished housing for the duration of their internship and competitive hourly pay based on experience ($16-18/hour).

AAEC faculty member Kurt Stephenson works with dairy farmers across the state to reduce the impact of Nitrogen in the Chesapeake Bay. The FARM'N (Funding for Agricultural Reductions in Mass balance of Nitrogen) program is a farm-specific, flexible way to measure nutrient loss and implement new practices on dairy farms. The program is a partnership with Virginia Tech and the Virginia State Dairymen's Association designed to work with farmers and find solutions that work for their operations.
