I wanted to say a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support our event yesterday! It meant the world to me to have so many people show up, donate and attend. I want to make this a yearly event and can't wait to see it grow!
A big thank you to the 341 chapter members that made desserts and helped with setup and serving food, Donna Kiser from 316 coming the day before to help setup and stayed all day the day of the event to run the kitchen and to Crystal who keeps our hall looking spotless and spent 2 days making sure it was cleaned and ready for people! 🧡
A HUGE thank you to my mom, Jeanne Kirby, for her amazing displays that were present. She worked tirelessly on the displays for 9/11 a few years ago and had them stored carefully.
I am so proud of this event and the hard work that went into it! As my husband said, I worked late nights and early mornings, but it was thoroughly worth it! Seeing how happy we were able to make the men and women that showed up was the best gift!
