Welcome to our site. We are the Western Ohio Region of the Sports Car Club of America (WOR SCCA), based out of Dayton. Our boundaries range from Wapakoneta to Miamisburg, Springfield to Eaton; however anyone is welcome to race with us! We were founded locally in 1959 and are a non-profit local organization, sanctioned by the national Sports Car Club of America organization. We hold area autocrosse

s, road rallies, rallycrosses and track days. If it has something to do with driving fast in the region, we probably have our fingers (and right foot) planted firmly in it! Browse our site and learn how you can become involved in our brand of motorsports - it takes all kinds of people to make our events happen so we're sure to have something to do for all racing fans. We are race car drivers, car lovers, car obsessed. We are car mechanics, engineers, stay at home moms, doctors, sales people, daily drivers, the disabled, college students, the retired. We are young and old; we come from every aspect of your community. And we are serious when it comes to anything about cars and racing them. The WOR SCCA keeps its activities legal, safe and professional. But we have FUN! Join us for a number of racing events around the region, as well as extracurricular activities throughout the year.

We’re proud to announce that the Western Ohio Region SCCA has been awarded the 2025 Best New Regional RoadRally Program by SCCA National!

This award recognizes a region’s successful development of a new RoadRally program—highlighting consistent event organization, program growth, and the establishment of a sustainable foundation through trained leadership and safety stewardship.

Over the past couple of years, our RoadRally program has grown from an idea into a fun, welcoming, and well-run series of events. From scenic routes to engaging challenges, these rallies have created a new way for members and newcomers alike to experience motorsports.

A huge part of this success is thanks to our RoadRally Chair, Jerry Stem, whose dedication, organization, and passion have been instrumental in building this program from the ground up. His leadership—and the support of our volunteers and participants—has made this achievement possible.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make our RoadRally program a success. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and continue growing this program in the years ahead!
