Today we’re celebrating the creative force behind our organization, Kristina — our VP of Marketing and Co-Founder. 💙

Alongside Christine, Kristina helped build the heart and vision of our mission from the ground up. Her creativity, passion, and innovation help bring everything we do to life in meaningful and impactful ways.

Kristina is the creative mind behind so many of the ideas, projects, and outreach efforts that connect us with the children and families we serve. From designing and shaping our website to helping tell our story in ways that inspire others, her talent and dedication shine through every detail.

Christine is the heart behind so much of what we do for foster and kinship care children and their families. From being the SUPER organizer of both the shop and the company, to leading with compassion and purpose, she keeps everything moving with grace and dedication.

💙 Foster Fact Friday 💙

Did you know? One of the biggest immediate needs for foster and kinship families is access to everyday essentials for the children in their care.

That’s why our shop exists — providing FREE clothing, toys, hygiene items, baby supplies, and other essentials to foster and kinship care families in need. When children enter care, it often happens unexpectedly, and caregivers may have little time to prepare.

By helping meet these practical needs, we can ease stress on families and help children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during times of transition.

Every donated item, volunteer hour, and act of support helps us continue this mission and serve families in our community. 💙

Our foster and kinship care families are always in need of extra support, and you can help make a difference. 💙

Blue Ridge Foster VA is currently accepting donations of new or gently used items to help care for children and support families in our community. Every donation — big or small — helps provide comfort, stability, and encouragement to children and caregivers navigating foster and kinship care.

If you have items to give, we would be so grateful for your support. Together, we can help families feel seen, supported, and cared for during challenging seasons.

May is National Foster Care Month 💙

Blue Ridge Foster VA had the honor and privilege of providing 200 gift bags to our incredible local foster families and dedicated foster care social workers. We are so thankful for each and every one of you and the love, commitment, and support you give every day.

A special thank you to Decked Out Delights for the beautiful cookies—they were the perfect touch!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

As a nonprofit serving foster and kinship care families, we are especially mindful of the sacrifices made by military families and the strength it takes to care for and support children through times of change and uncertainty.

Today, we honor, we remember, and we give thanks. ❤️🤍💙

Our nonprofit is currently collecting donated items to support kids and the families who step in to care for them. These children often arrive with very little, and together we can help meet their everyday needs with dignity and love.

Every donation helps create a sense of stability and belonging during a time of big transition.
