Rebuilding Hope had their monthly board meeting on Monday, May 11. The youth group from Massachusetts completed a ramp for a homeowner. Plans were made for both May (ramp building) and June (flooring) projects as well as a shower installation for later in the summer. Time was spent on reviewing an application. Thank you to your donations we recently purchased impact drivers and batteries. Thank you to First Bank & Trust for selecting us for their yearly community donation.

What does the third Saturday of the month mean to Rebuilding Hope? We are on the road to make one more home safer. This month's project is located in Elkton with building a ramp. All are welcome to volunteer ... there is a project task for all skill levels. Mark your calendar! Our next project will be on Saturday, June 20. Stay tuned for details.

On this special day to recognize our mothers we also celebrate grandmothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, mothers to be, and those who are mother figures. A special blessing to all those mothers who volunteer with Rebuilding Hope. And a special prayer of comfort if you are missing your mother today.

Here is part two of our volunteers building a ramp for the homeowners to safely enter and exit their home. The day began warm and sunny and by the afternoon Mount Crawford was receiving much needed rain. As you see our volunteers are up to any weather challenge. The last two pics are why we commit ourselves to the mission of "seeking to put God’s love into action, by providing safe and healthy homes for our neighbors." Thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time and talents and to all who donate to our nonprofit.

Here is part one of our latest Rebuilding Hope project. On Saturday, April 25 volunteers built a ramp for the homeowners to safely access their home. As Pastor Sarah is doing in the first photo it begins with prep work. Check out the saw purchased with your donations! Stay tuned for more photos!

Last Wednesday, April 22 the board members of Rebuilding Hope had their monthly meeting. The group is still planning to have an outreach in the community about our nonprofit. Once again the youth group from Massachusetts is completing two home projects. Final plans were made for Saturday's project of building a ramp in nearby Mount Crawford. Plans were made for our next monthly project on Saturday, May 16. A review of an application and projects (waiting on applications) was discussed. Our next meeting will be Monday, May 11 at 6:30 pm.
