🐄 Showing livestock at the Rockingham County 4-H & FFA Livestock Show & Sale.
🌭Working at the Federation FFA Food Booth and Rockingham Young Farmers Ice Cream Booth, and
🛠Entering metal and woodworking projects into the Rockingham County Agriculture Education Mechanics Building!

🏆We are so proud of all of our members and their accomplishments.

✏️We hope everyone recovers from the fair before school starts this Thursday!

Our Ag Fabrication students refurbished a trailer this year and are auctioning it off to raise money for our department. Bids start at $300. Email your bid and phone number to Hannah Campbell at [email protected] by Friday, August 21st at 5:00pm.

We were honored to be joined by Delegate Chris Runion and Rockingham County Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Larry Shifflett, this week in our FFA Food Booth and Young Farmers Ice Cream Booth! We even got to serve Senator Mark Obenshain some delicious ice cream. 🍦🐄

The Turner Ashby FFA Officer team had a wonderful time at our Officer Retreat! We planned for the year, set goals, did team-building activities, and got to know our fellow officers better. A special thank you to TA FFA Alumni, Jackie Lohr, for chaperoning with us!

While the majority of State Convention is focused on competing in state-level contests, our members also participated in other opportunities such as the Career Expo, exploring Virginia Tech, and meeting new members from other chapters!

Our members had an incredible week at the 100th Virginia FFA State Convention! 💙💛

We had two state-winning teams, Environmental & Natural Resources and Milk Quality & Products, who will be representing Virginia in October at the National FFA Convention.

We also had two 1st place Agriscience Fair winners who may have the opportunity to also represent Virginia at the National FFA Convention.

Our chapter was also recognized in multiple areas including the Star Blue Ridge Area Senior Chapter! ⭐️
