So cool when science confirms what we see on a regular basis!
A recent study found that therapeutic horseback riding can reduce hyperactivity and improve emotional and social functioning in children with autism and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

We are so excited to announce our newest team member, Danielle!
Dani was one of the very first volunteers for Sonrise and is back!

She is a a PATH certified instructor and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in helping run a therapeutic riding program.
With her addition to the team, we are able to expand our lesson program which will help reduce our waitlist by approximately 2 years!

BUT we need your help!
More lessons means we need more support volunteers!
Can you help? No previous horse experience necessary - we will train you.

Still marveling over W**e & Equine 2026, "SonRise on the Serengeti".
The guests dressed for the adventure and were greeted by a vintage safari Land Rover and a mini zebra and lion.
Our Emcee and Auctioneer were awesome and the donors came through, raising over $200,000. The money is still coming in and it looks like this is on track to be our biggest event ever!
Thank you to all who came to support the kids of SonRise. 🐴🥰

W**e & Equine 2026 was a “roar”-ing 🦁 success, and might be at the top for the list for one of our most FUN events! And it seems like our guests discovered HOPE on the horizon during their SonRise safari on Saturday night because they raised nearly $200,000 to continue the SonRise mission!! Thank you to all who contributed in any way to make this year so amazing!
