💙💛 This Is Me: Liam! 💛💙

Meet Liam, a high school senior from Modesto who takes pride in working hard! 🌟 In this photo, Liam is holding a bag of popcorn from the business he owns in partnership with his three siblings. Liam plays an important role in the business, handling labeling and helping manage inventory. We love seeing him put his skills to work!

When he’s not busy working, Liam enjoys playing drums, listening to Christian music, and texting with friends and family. 🥁🎶

This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we’re celebrating Liam, his strong work ethic, and all the things that make him who he is! ❤️

Maia is proud to be part of the Down syndrome community, and she’s working hard to turn her dreams into reality! 🌟

As a member of DSCBA’s Self-Advocacy Board and a third-year recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship, Maia continues to aim high. She’s currently attending college, majoring in Justice, Community, and Leadership with an emphasis in Advocacy. 📚

Maia is a great example of what it means to dream big, work hard, and believe in yourself! ❤️

💙💛 This Is Me: Zeke! 💛💙

Meet Zeke! 🎶✨ Zeke loves music, from Christian rap artists like Alex Jean, KB, and Lecrae to country and all kinds of other music! He also enjoys bowling, dancing, and creating short videos. 🎳💃📱

Zeke participates in Shining Stars Theatrical Arts for Special Needs and attends the Community Experience Center in Modesto, CA. This past August, he even visited Kansas City! 🌟

We love celebrating all the things that make Zeke unique. 💙💛

Meet Tohma, an 11-year-old model who is making his mark in the fashion world! 📸✨ He has modeled for well-known brands including Pottery Barn Kids, FabKids, Teacollections, and Old Navy. His cowboy photos even made their way into Harper’s Bazaar Kids Brazil! 🤠⭐

Tohma loves being in front of the camera and interacting with people. We love seeing him shine and sharing his talents with the world!

💙💛 This Is Me: Meet Liam! 💛💙

Liam is curious and incredibly observant. He likes to watch first, take it all in, and try things when he’s ready. If something feels challenging, he may step away, but often comes back to it on his own terms.

His family has learned an important lesson from Liam: taking his time doesn’t mean he isn’t capable. With patience, encouragement, and the freedom to figure things out in his own way, Liam continues to surprise them with all he can do.

He may get there differently or in his own time, but never underestimate him. This kid is capable of so much! 💙💛
