Swajan's 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙥 was on 15𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 2024 and the venue was Jangalpara BCKM High School, Jangalpara, Hooghly, W.B. On that day we had various games, cultural programs, prize distribution and meet and greet to get to know each other and form a beautiful bond among the current students, former students, volunteers and special guests. Light breakfast, tea and home-cooked meals were provided. We all had a wonderful time and made a lot of memories to cherish. Some of the moments from the event are captured in these photos

Annual: Bosonta Utsav (Festival of Holi in West Bengal)

At the Swajan Foundation’s India complex, we celebrate the Basanta Utsav. The festival of Holi is celebrated as BASANTA UTSAV in West Bengal. It is also celebrated to welcome the Spring season – the season of Hope. The Basanta Utsav means “Celebration of Spring”.

Swajan's 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙥 is coming up on 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 and the venue is the same as last year, Kailash Chandra Sandhukhan High School, Ankari Srirampur, Hooghly, W.B. On that day, we are going to have various games, cultural programmes, prize distribution, and meet-and-greets to get to know each other and form a beautiful bond among the current and former students. A light breakfast, tea, and home-cooked meals would be served too. We are all going to have a wonderful time and make a lot of memories to cherish.

At the Swajan Foundation’s India complex, we had our recent monthly all-student meet-up on October 1st, 2023.

We welcomed new HS and above scholars who got selected for the Swajan Scholarship for the school year 2023-2024. We also had short speeches on Mahatma Gandhi and the great Vidyasagar and their contributions to India and Bengal. Besides those we had our regular programming… prayer, meditation, a talk on the 'Teachers and students relationship and their responsibilities' by Souvik Roy (Teacher at Rahara Ramakrishna Mission), a talk on the Practice of delivering speeches, and small group discussions on various topics that the students brought up and needed advice on. We enjoyed a light lunch together. Some moments here from that event.

At the Swajan Foundation’s India complex, we had our last monthly all-student meet-up on August 6th, 2023.

We had prayer, meditation, a talk on the 'need of self-assessment' by Satyajit Basu (TIC, Tarakeswar Mahavidyalaya, HS Unit), a talk on the Practice of delivering speeches, and small group discussions on various topics that the students brought up and needed advice on. At the Swajan Foundation’s India complex we had our last monthly all student meet-up on July 2nd, 2023.

We had prayer, meditation, a talk on global warming & climate century by PhD Premashis Manna from Tel-Aviv (Israel), a talk on NEET preparation and setting realistic goals by Dr. Surajit Adak, small group discussions on various topics that the students brought up and needed advice on. Enjoyed light lunch together. Sharing some moments here from that event.

We celebrated the birthdays of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam together on May 14th, 2023 and we named this program as *Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti*. Swajan's students, volunteers, staff and locals joined together to make this a successful event. We all had a great time together with songs, recitatiosn and speeches performed by our students and teachers. Sharing a few moments here online.
