May is National Tennis Month! 🎾

This month, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of wheelchair tennis and the importance of inclusive sports opportunities for all athletes.

Using the same courts, equipment, and most of the same rules as traditional tennis, wheelchair tennis continues to show that athletics, competition, and community belong to everyone.

This Mother’s Day weekend, we’re celebrating all mothers and the many ways they love, support, advocate, comfort, and care for their children.

We especially honor the mothers navigating the unique journey of raising children with special needs - the mothers balancing appointments and advocacy, celebrating every milestone, carrying invisible loads, and showing up fiercely through it all.

National Therapy Animal Day 🐾

Molly loved her therapy animal visits during her time at — especially with Dayo and his handler, Liz. These moments brought her comfort, joy, and of course smiles.

Therapy animals can have a powerful impact for children with special needs — helping reduce anxiety, provide emotional support, and create meaningful moments of connection.

As Disability Book Week comes to a close, we’re reminded just how powerful stories can be in shaping how we see the world and each other.

Books that include disabilities help celebrate differences, challenges stereotypes, and create a more inclusive world. Representation matters. It fosters empathy, encourages understanding, and helps every child feel seen, valued, and included.
