This week’s meeting centered around a topic that impacts all of us: peace.

We were honored to welcome Rotary Peace Fellow Scott Martin, who shared his inspiring journey and the work he is doing to promote peace and understanding around the world through education, dialogue, and action.

We also heard from Traci Perry, District Peace Chair, who led us in a thoughtful message about creating stronger, more connected communities through service and leadership.

One of the things so many of our members love about Rotary is the opportunity to learn from incredible people who are making a difference both locally and globally. Every meeting leaves us inspired, informed, and grateful to be part of this community.

What an incredible weekend at the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival! 🎪🌬️🍷

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Danville San Ramon Rotary booth to say hello, grab a drink, support our fundraiser, and spend time with our amazing Rotary members and volunteers. 💙

From setup to cleanup, this weekend was filled with teamwork, community connection, lots of laughs, and a shared commitment to giving back. Events like this help support programs including Student of the Month, Interact, youth leadership, scholarships, and other important community initiatives we’re proud to be part of.

Our club will have the honor of welcoming Rotary Peace Fellow Scott Martin, who will travel from Los Angeles to share how Rotary’s Peace Fellowship shaped his personal and professional journey in peacebuilding. We will also be joined by Rotary peace leaders Suzanne Bragdon and Traci Perry for what promises to be an inspiring program focused on Positive Peace and Rotary’s global impact.

Behind the scenes at the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival 🎪🍷🌬️

It takes a lot of teamwork, volunteers, laughs, and hustle to get everything set up… and our amazing Danville San Ramon Rotary crew has been hard at work getting ready for a fun weekend at Central Park! 💙

We’ll be out at the festival selling beer, wine, and water as a fundraiser supporting programs like Student of the Month, Interact, youth leadership, and community outreach initiatives.

If you’re heading to the festival this weekend, make sure to stop by the Rotary booth, say hi, grab a drink, and support a great cause! 👋

Another meaningful week at the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club 💙

Swipe through a few moments from this week’s meeting filled with connection, community, and reflection.

We were excited to officially welcome two new members, Clay Jackson and Jessie Cho, to our Rotary family 👏

We also celebrated Sunitha Anand earning her Blue Badge - a special milestone that reflects her commitment, involvement, and dedication to service and community connection.

One of the most impactful parts of the meeting was a powerful Memorial Day presentation from David Behring, who shared stories, photos, and reflections from Gettysburg, Normandy, Arlington National Cemetery, and other historic sites. It was a meaningful reminder of why we remember, honor, and never forget those who served and sacrificed.

We also enjoyed a fun update from Terry Koehne on preparations for the upcoming Art & Wind Festival 🎨🌬️

Grateful to be part of a club that continues to bring people together through service, leadership, and community.

Another meaningful week at the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club 💙

This week’s meeting was filled with connection, reflection, and community.
