Swipe through for highlights from another incredible week at Danville San Ramon Rotary! 💙💛

This meeting was a great reminder of what Rotary is all about: service, leadership, community, and connection.

🎉 We welcomed our newest members, Pooja Ahuja and Laura Daniels.

👏 We celebrated Cathy Simmons as she received her blue badge.

💙 We presented a $1,000 Community Grant to Contra Costa Interfaith Coalition to support their important work in our community.

🔨 We looked back at our Sunny Glen Bench Build Project and the amazing volunteers who helped bring it to life.

🎤 We heard from Rachel Hurd, Executive Director of Leadership San Ramon Valley, who shared how the program is helping develop current and future leaders throughout the San Ramon Valley.

As we head into the final meeting of the Rotary year, we’re grateful for the many ways our members continue to make a difference through service and leadership.

What a great day of service! 💙🔨

Today, members of Danville San Ramon Rotary rolled up their sleeves to help support the residents of Sunny Glen by building 8 new benches for their community activities area.

From assembling benches and applying weather sealant to attaching Rotary plaques, this was truly a hands-on project that will make a lasting impact. Even better, it was a chance to come together, serve our community, and enjoy some great fellowship along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to help make this project possible. This is what Service Above Self looks like. 🙌

🔨💙 What a fantastic day of service!

This weekend, members of Danville San Ramon Rotary came together to build 8 new benches for the Sunny Glen community. These benches will provide comfortable seating for residents enjoying the bocce ball, horseshoe, and shuffleboard courts behind the clubhouse.

Projects like this are a great reminder of what Rotary is all about – bringing people together to make a positive impact in our community. From assembling and finishing the benches to sharing laughs and fellowship along the way, it was a day well spent.

Another great week at Danville San Ramon Rotary! 💙💛

This week’s meeting was packed with inspiration, impact, and a look ahead at the exciting work still to come.

We celebrated scholarship recipient Elisabeth Lee and recognized her achievements with a $1,500 scholarship. 🎓

We also got a first look at plans for the 2026 Auction for Education, one of the many ways our club supports local students and our community. 🎉

A highlight of the meeting was hearing from Foundation Chair Karen McNamara, who shared the Danville San Ramon Rotary Foundation Annual Report. From grants and scholarships to local and international service projects, it was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished through the generosity and dedication of our members.

We also heard from a representative of Tri-Valley Haven, one of our grant recipients. Their organization provides critical support and resources to adults and children experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness throughout the Tri-Valley area. Their work is changing lives every day, and we are honored to support their mission. ❤️

And of course, there was plenty of excitement surrounding our raffle jackpot, which climbed above $1,600! Congratulations to Leslie Stellar, this week’s lucky winner. 🎱🎉

Another inspiring Tuesday at Danville San Ramon Rotary! 💙💛

This week we celebrated the impact of service, generosity, and community.

✨ We kicked off planning for the 2026 Auction for Education
🎓 Recognized scholarship recipient Elisabeth Lee and her incredible achievements
📱 Learned about new updates to the Ignite Member App
🌍 Highlighted the many ways our members are making a difference locally and around the world
🤝 Heard from a special guest from Tri-Valley Haven, one of our grant recipients, and learned more about the organization's vital work serving adults and children in the Tri-Valley area who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, or homelessness. Their compassionate support and resources make a meaningful difference for so many individuals and families in our community.

A special thank you to Foundation Chair Karen McNamara for sharing the Danville San Ramon Rotary Foundation Annual Report and showcasing how member support helps fund scholarships, grants, service projects, and initiatives that create lasting impact both locally and internationally.

Our Rotary Club was proud to be part of this growing celebration of love, inclusion, and community right here in the San Ramon Valley.

From connecting with local families and organizations to celebrating diversity and belonging, the day was filled with meaningful conversations, smiles, and a whole lot of community spirit.

At Rotary, we believe in bringing people together, building understanding, and creating welcoming communities for all.

🧡 Little donations. BIG impact. 🧡

What an incredible show of generosity from our Danville San Ramon Rotary community!

Thanks to the kindness of our members and supporters, our Diaper Drive benefiting the Bay Area Crisis Nursery was a huge success.

Together we collected:
✔️ 37 cases of diapers (approximately 4,000 diapers!)
✔️ 19 cans of formula
✔️ 18 cases of wipes (about 150 packages)
✔️ 20 brand-new toys for children ages 0–8

That adds up to an estimated **$4,000 worth of much-needed supplies** that will help support local families and children in our community. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this effort. Your generosity is helping provide comfort, care, and critical resources to families when they need it most.

This is what *Service Above Self* looks like. 🙌
