As we look forward to 2026, one of the things we're most excited about is the start of our palliative program. We're still a few months out from our big launch, but in the meantime, we'd love to introduce you to Morgan Ryan, our new Palliative Nurse Practitioner.

A small act of kindness this morning as Officer Warner provided a little TLC to the memory boards on the village green after one of the boards fell over due to the strong winds these past few days. Keep up the good work out there Officer Warner.

Thank you, Cortland County community!
We are so grateful for another successful Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Green in Homer last Friday night. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the cold to join us and admire the beautiful boards honoring our loved ones.

Santa and the Grinch brought extra cheer and made the evening truly magical. 🎅💚 The memorial boards will remain on display through mid-January—please stop by and take a look when you can.

Together, we made this tradition shine brighter than ever! 🌲💫

This Friday night at 6:30 on the Homer Village Green our community Tree Lighting Ceremony. Come out and join us and see the beautiful display of names honoring loved ones. Come see Santa, hear Christmas songs, and the Grinch may even sneak up. It’s not too late to donate to Hospice at Www.Lightofmylife.org

Recently our Hospice Foundation board member Jim Provero met with assemblywoman Dr. Anna Kelles (pictured here)
Dr. Kelles co-sponsored a bill - which was passed by both the NYS Assembly and Senate - that currently awaits Governor Hochul's signature. That bill will prohibit further privatization of Hospice care in NYS. See attached link explaining that bill.

The Hospice Foundation of Cortland County will hold its annual Tree Lighting countdown on Friday, Dec. 5th at 6:30PM on the Village Green in Homer, NY. There will be cookies and hot chocolate, and holiday music by the Bible Baptist Church, The Wassailing Group and Homer Radio, WXHC X101. Santa will arrive by fire truck (it’s a tradition!). The Grinch may even sneak up! The memory boards will be on display during the month of December into early January.
