In Memory Carrie Trautman Peska

In Memory Carrie Trautman Peska On April 7, 2009, Carrie became our angel in the sky. We love & miss her! Forever in our hearts & always on our minds!! She loved life and it loved her!

Carrie was a wonderful daughter, sister, friend, nurse & co-worker. She worked @ Andover Village Retirement Community for many years (22 yrs) doing what she loved and believed in. She was an LPN and because of her hard work and dedication, she was awarded the assistant Director of Nursing and Head of Restorative Care! She is greatly missed by her co-workers and residents. They named the physical t

herapy wing after her and Andover continues to help with this fund. In May 2009, she was named "Hero of the Month" by the Ohio Health Care Organization. Her parents & sister went to Columbus to accept the award on her behalf. What an HONOR!! She truly loved being a nurse and helping others. She was a wonderful person and always was there to help. We are all very proud of all she became!! She loved her bassets, her kitty cats & the people in her life! She always said "Everything with a face deserves love & respect". If we all could just be so fortunate to live by those words! Carrie had many other sayings she loved and for our theme we use " Put Your Big Girl Panties on and Deal With It". She used that saying often and truly that is what we have done. We all have put our big girls on and we now use our time to try and fulfill what we feel is our duty to Carrie to finish what she started as being a wonderful giving person.
