Adorable Addie will be making an appearance at the event Saturday at Harvey’s Garden, Syracuse. Addie is 5-6 years old and was rescued with her son from a difficult situation. Her son was adopted to a great home with a playmate, but this girl has been waiting months.

She has beautiful, soft fur. Her lovely purr is music to your ears. 🎵👂 Addie likes to play and is sweet with people. It seems she has decided she’d like to be an only cat to have all the attention for herself. Princess Addie! 👑

She is currently at a foster placement. https://www.petfinder.com/cat/addie-4544a0b3-6dae-4b7c-a27c-1cdd5a4225aa/ny/cortland/cny-snap-ny602/details/?_gl=1*xrep7o*_ga*MTk5MzQ0NDIwNS4xNzc4ODc1MTgw*_ga_5H1R91DP2Q*czE3ODA1Mjg0MDkkbzI0JGcxJHQxNzgwNTI4NDczJGo2MCRsMCRoMA..

POV: this could be your view every day!

3 reasons to get a shelter cat:
• You’re saving a life. Adopting opens space for another animal that needs help.

• Built-in best friend. Shelter cats are so grateful for a home and love being close to their people.

• You already know their personality.

Shelter staff and volunteers help match you with the perfect fit.
Your future couch buddy might be waiting at the shelter right now. Adopt, don’t shop.💙

Nine year old Batman should have been named Mr. Lovin. 🥰 All this guy wants is to be loved and pet. He is so pleased with attention, that he moves all over in delight.

He was surrendered last month with two other cats by his owner who could no longer care for them. We’re hoping this older boy can find a furrever home soon to avoid a long stay at the shelter.

June is National Cat Adoption Day!

No plans for this Saturday 6/6 afternoon or evening? Come visit us at the Syracuse Veg Collective’s Vlock party at Harvey’s Garden from 2:00-8:00 p.m.

The Syracuse Veg Collective has planned an incredible event so they can raise money for the CNY Snap shelter animals. ❤️ Please come out to support both organizations.

We’ll have some adoptable cats with us. Stop by our table to meet them (and maybe fall in love and adopt). 😍

When asked, one volunteer said the cat they most want to be like is Brie. Why? “Because she is relaxed, gentle and sweet. Plus, she has a beautiful face!”

It blows our minds 🤯 that someone just left this wonderful girl behind in an apartment like an old, unwanted shoe.

We have dozens of great felines like Brie at CNY Snap, 17 Salisbury Street, Cortland. Please come visit and consider adopting.

The adoption fee is $130 each for 6 months and younger. It is $100 for cats over 6 months. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines up-to-date, preventative flea and worm treatment plus tested for FIV/FeLV.

You can visit adoptable cats at our Cortland shelter:
