As of the latest USBC Annual Meeting in 2026, there will be no increase in USBC membership dues until at least 2031
Executive Director Chad Murphy announced that steady membership growth — rising from about 1.053 million in 2021–22 to over 1.093 million in 2022–23, with continued stability in the following years — means the organization does not need to raise dues in the near term. This is a significant change from earlier projections, which had expected an increase sooner
The decision is based on strong tournament participation, with both the USBC Women’s Championships and Open Championships seeing record or near-record entries in recent years. For example, Women’s Championship entries have grown from 3,155 in 2022 to over 4,500 projected for 2027, and Open Championship entries have risen from 9,565 in 2023 to over 12,400 projected for 2027
