Gosh end of the month means NAMI Connections support group meeting happens tomorrow night, August 24 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

IRL at FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST meeting room. Address 171 W Pulteney St., Corning, NY! Please arrive no sooner than 5:45.

Or by ZOOM from a quiet and confidential space in your home. We do ask that zoom attendees keep cameras on unless there are special needs that I must approve and others in attendance also agree to. We will let you into the meeting from the waiting room promptly at 6 pm. Zoom attendance is limited to 10 and the “door” will close for admission when we have that many people. This 8-week class is offered to caregivers and loved ones of adults living with mental illness through NAMI Buffalo & Western New York in partnership with NAMI Steuben County NY, open to Central and Western New York communities. It will run on Wednesdays, from September 23 through November 11, 2026. Rural families, especially, affected by a loved one’s serious mental illness are encouraged and welcome to attend!

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. There is no charge to attend and all materials are provided.

It is important to feel you can commit to attending all 8 class sessions, except for an emergency.

Access to internet, a camera, and privacy to participate are required.

To register, email: NAMI [email protected], with Subject: “Register Family-to-Family Online 9/23” and be sure to include your name and phone number. We will call you with details and to finalize your registration.

Space is limited. Priority is given to participants from the Central and Western New York regions.
