The Sister Cities Association of Corning, NY SGV Committee hosted a pasta & tiramisu making class for the CPP Sister City club!

Such a fun afternoon creating a wonderful meal together, while sharing stories of heritage, culture & travels. They also tried the wonderful olive oil from Semboloni Winery, located just outside of our Sister City, as well as traditional taralli!

Another fun project offered by the Sister Cities Association of Corning, NY Lviv Committee!

They designed pysanka "the written word", by using melted beeswax. Using dyes on their different stages of drawings, then melting the wax off when the egg was completed revealed their finished product.

The Sister Cities Association of Corning, NY Lviv Committee pierogi-making class was a delicious success! 🥟

With nine participants rolling, filling, and folding, each person went home with 3dz handmade pierogi! It was a wonderful way to celebrate culture, community, and the joy of creating something together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! we can’t wait for the next gathering!

🇮🇹STUDENT APPLICATION DEADLINE

The deadline to submit an application to the student exchange for CPP High School Students interested in hosting an Italian student in September 2026 and traveling to Italy in February 2026, is Friday, April 17.
