We're excited to share this opportunity once again, in partnership with AIM Independent Living Center. Register today so you don't miss your chance to attend!
The third annual Homes on the Horizon Housing Conference, to be held Friday, Oct. 16, will bring together community stakeholders to discuss homelessness and the shortage of affordable, accessible housing - and work toward possible solutions.
The event, presented by AIM and Arbor Housing and Development, will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Economic Opportunity Program, located at 650 Baldwin Street in Elmira.
The conference will be facilitated by Dusty Hewitt of Long Run Communications. This year’s theme is building a homeless response system in the Southern Tier, connecting systems and creating solutions.
AIM is planning to have panel discussions with guest speakers from community organizations, a lived experience panel, and breakout group activities.
Attendance is free and breakfast and lunch are included for participants, but advance registration is required.
AIM also welcomes local service providers who would like to table at the event, at no cost.
