This week our very own Jean Krebs hung up her basket & clipboard. Jean is our oldest serving delivery volunteer at 95 and has been delivering since 1994. Jean and her delivery partner Nancy deliver meals every Monday to seniors on the northside. Her commitment is an incredible reminder that making a difference has no age limit. Her generosity, compassion, and dedication have touched the lives of so many, and we are deeply grateful for every mile driven, every meal delivered, and every smile shared. Thank you Jean for your service to seniors in the Corning-Painted Area.

Have you heard of The Fabric Chicken? This shop on Market Street is for anyone who loves arts & crafts. If you sew, scrapbook, knit, paint, make cards or jewelry, you are sure to find something here. If you have supplies that are collecting dust, Amy can help take them off you hands so they can find a new home. If that wasn't cool enough, The Fabric Chicken is selling chicks to raise money for Corning Meals on Wheels.

Today, we proudly recognize Sharon Martinez-Shepard for more than 10 years of dedicated volunteer service with Faith in Action STNY.🩷

For over a decade, Sharon has shared her time, compassion, and generosity with the seniors we serve, providing transportation, companionship, and a caring presence that has made a lasting impact on countless lives. Her selfless commitment has truly embodied the heart of our mission.

We are incredibly grateful for the legacy of kindness and service she leaves behind. Volunteers like Sharon are the foundation of Faith in Action STNY, and we are honored to have had her as part of our family.
