Hope to see everyone on the trails this Saturday for STRC Trailfest at Sugar Hill

If you are a trail runner you know that the real secret sauce to trail running especial ultra distance trail running is the food. So I wante dto share what we will have in stock for you at our STRC Trailfest at Sugar Hill event.

Fully stocked aide station:
- Homemade cinnamon chocolate chip pancakes. (These are my favorite snacks and I always have them on hand at home)
- Watermelon
- Oranges
- Bananas
- Fruit snacks
- Oreos
- Pringles
- PB & J (the classic go to)

Post race food:
- Hambergers
- Hotdogs
- Veggie burgers (just ask and we will grill one up for you)
- Roasted potato salad with fresh herbs
- Vegan chili (Homemade by your RD)
- Banana Bread (Homemade by your RD)
- Potato chips
- Tortilla chips

- For a beverage we will have 2 different flavors of Gatorade that are availabel at the aide stationa and for post race food.

*** We will start cooking food a little before the 3 hour event concludes so the food will be available when the 3 hours is up. Then for the longer distances just let us know when you want to eat and we will grill you burgers/hotdogs and get the sides out. We don't want to leave everything out all day getting gross and stale. We would rather give it to you fresh. Also if you are running one of the longer distances the 6 or 12 hour and you want to take a break to eat during your event let us know and we can get food ready for you then as well ****

Also everything except the burgers and hotdogs are vegan.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Sugar Hill State Forest.

We have our awards in hand. Finisher awards with the lanyard for everyone. And the large overall winner awards that the top male and female runners for each time distance will receive.

In the process of getting things prepped and packed up for the event this weekend. Food is being made. Aide station supplies gathered.
