Avery Trace Middle School students signed our Red Ribbon Week pledge to live drug and alcohol-free and be a positive influence in their school. Hundreds of students are leading the change!

Parents, rest assured your kiddos teeth will survive halloweekend! Our friends at Putnam County Health Department gave students free toothbrushes, too! 🦷🪥

Red Ribbon Week at Algood Middle School ❤️

The coalition and Putnam County Health Department setup to teach students how to have fun without substances! The cafeteria turned into a drug-free party and hundreds of students pledged to live substance free!

Building a Boo-tiful Community with our new friends at The Home Depot was so sweet 🍬🤍

Community partners, businesses, and local families joined us in showing Putnam County families how to have drug-free fun this Halloween. Hundreds of young people signed a pledge to unwrap their potential and live drug-free. Over 1,600 PEOPLE came through and visited the coalition and our partners!

To our families, thank you for making our first trunk or treat & event with the new Home Depot of Cookeville a success. We are building a boo-tiful community, together 👏🏼

Vapes might look harmless, but the risks are real. Many contain ni****ne, which is highly addictive and can affect the developing teen brain, including areas responsible for attention, learning, mood, and impulse control. Va**ng can also expose your lungs to harmful substances.

And it's not just ni****ne. THC vapes can impair memory, coordination, and decision-making, while products with high THC concentrations can carry additional risks.

💊 Drug Take Back 💊

This year, we collected nearly 400 pounds of unused, unwanted, or expired medications alongside coalition members, law enforcement, and volunteers. That is nearly 400 pounds of medications that won’t get into the wrong hands. Accidental overdose, children accessing meds, pollution of waterways, stolen medications- prevented thanks to you.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Putnam County safer 🤍
