Our mission: to be good stewards of Putnam County through litter removal, community gardening, beautification projects and education about waste reduction and composting. Responsibilities include: coordinating litter pickup with volunteers from churches, organizations, and individuals; encouraging beautification through monthly and yearly awards; provide education about recycling in businesses an

d schools throughout Putnam County; operating the Adopt-A-Road program to help keep litter cleaned up from roadways; coordinating all manner of waste disposal including E-Waste, Hazardous Waste, and disposal of unused and expired medications therefore keeping them out of our landfill and groundwater.
