Congratulations to our very own Carol and Emily on receiving the Junior League of Columbus 2025-2026 Community Award! 🎉

While this award recognizes Carol and Emily's hard work and dedication, it also celebrates a strong partnership that helps make our Holiday Wish List Program possible year after year. 🤝

Through volunteer support, gift collection, and a shared commitment to young people, the Junior League of Columbus helps ensure every young person participating in the program has something special to open during the holiday season. Together, we've strengthened this annual effort to maximize its impact for the youth we serve.

Thank you to the Junior League of Columbus, and especially Marci, for this honor and for your continued partnership.

Help us congratulate Carol and Emily on this recognition by leaving a 👏 in the comments!

Because of you, we are community. 💙🧡🩷

🌈 This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and joy of LGBTQ+ young people in our community.

Yet we also recognize a difficult reality: LGBTQ+ youth are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.

This year's Columbus Pride theme, "Until We're All Free," reminds us that true freedom means everyone has access to safety, support, and a place where they belong.

We know that community can change lives. 💙 When young people are met with acceptance, affirmation, and resources, they are better equipped to navigate challenges and build the futures they deserve.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

Because of you, We Are Community.

Friday night, as our community gathered for another Sleep Out, we saw firsthand the power of our community. And wow, was it powerful!

Dr. Michelle Taylor (Feminista Jones) spoke to building community, starting with those closest to us: our neighbors.

Our panelists reinforced a message we heard throughout the evening: no matter where we go from here, community must remain at the heart of it all.

And those of us who Slept Out were reminded that sleeping outside brings its own challenges: the sounds of the city, bright streetlights, and the inability to rest fully.

For too many young people in our community, these conditions aren't part of a one-night experience. They're a reality. And that's why we .

Thank you to everyone who joined us, fundraised, donated, volunteered, and were a part of the program!

With a special thanks to First Congregational Church/UCC and Jon Ebright Video Productions. Sleep Out would not have been the success it was without your partnership and passion!

Mental health is personal.

What works for one person may not work for another, and that’s okay.

We see every day that each young person’s path looks different, and each one deserves care, understanding, and support along the way.

However that path looks, we all deserve 💚
