Katie's Wish Foundation Katie received a life saving heart transplant which allowed her five more years of life. We are working to keep her memory alive by sharing her story.

Katie McBurnett received a life-saving heatr transplant on March 29, 2007. After her passing in September, 2012, Remember Katie Doante Life was formed. Currently, we organize to 5K running events each year, and also provide a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana. Proceeds from our fundraisers help purchase Cough Buddy bears to support Riley Hospital for Children and Pe

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Katie McBurnett 5K & 10K. Because a large part of our participants and volunteers are in the higher risk group for contracting COVID-19, we chose to cancel our event out of an abundance of caution. We will be back in 2021!
