Katie's Wish Foundation Katie received a life saving heart transplant which allowed her five more years of life. We are working to keep her memory alive by sharing her story.

Katie McBurnett received a life-saving heatr transplant on March 29, 2007. After her passing in September, 2012, Remember Katie Doante Life was formed. Currently, we organize to 5K running events each year, and also provide a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana. Proceeds from our fundraisers help purchase Cough Buddy bears to support Riley Hospital for Children and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. We also support other programs at Riley, as well as forming the Katie McBurnett Memorial Scholarship. Merchandise can be purchased at etsy.com/shop/RememberKatie
