Today, we mourn the loss of our brother, Bro. Ray Miller.

A trailblazer, leader, mentor, and devoted servant, Bro. Miller dedicated his life to advancing his community and creating opportunities for others. He proudly served for decades in the Ohio House and Senate, becoming one of the first African Americans elected to the Ohio Senate, and later served as Dean of the House.

His commitment to developing future leaders continued through the creation of the Ray Miller Institute for Change and Leadership at The Ohio State University.

We honor the life, leadership, and legacy of a brother whose impact touched countless lives and will continue for generations.

Rest in Power, Bro. Ray Miller. 🤙🏾🕊️

Welcome back, Nubians! So proud of our partnership with Columbus Africentric Early College, a key hub for our national program Go-to-High School, Go-to-College here in Columbus. A great time participating in the call in for students as they rise and shine to kick off the 2026-2027 school year. Thank you to Director Kyla Mitchell for inviting us. What a day! 🍔🌭

This past Sunday, Alpha Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted our annual Julian Lewis Cookout! Although the storm moved us indoors to Deb’s Event Center in Whitehall, it didn’t stop the fellowship. With 300+ attendees, we enjoyed great food, music, brotherhood, and community.

We were especially proud to recognize our Alpha Esquires and Alpha Jr. Esquires (and their parents), who represented their schools and shared in the celebration.

Special thanks to Bro. Ted Harris for orchestrating an incredible event, Bro. Diallo Wilkerson for keeping the party going, Bro. Carl Williams for snapping pics, and to all of our volunteers who helped with setup, teardown, food, supplies, and everything in between.

The weather changed the location, but not the energy! 🖤💛
