Gadi. Tal. Ofri. 🎼

GTO lands at the Columbus Museum of Art on June 18 — pianist Gadi Lehavi, bassist Tal Mashiach, drummer Ofri Nehemya, three of New York’s most in-demand voices on one stage.

They’ve played Carnegie Hall, the Village Vanguard, and the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Their album Within made JazzTimes’ top releases of 2025. The press called their interplay “attention-grabbing from the start.”

That’s an understatement.

Been almost 2 years since I last did this work. To sit quietly in contemplation, then be brought up for air is a gift. Beyond humbled to be welcomed by A Tribe for Jazz to the Columbus Museum of Art on 05.28.2026.

Even more grateful to do this one last time with my family my fellas Aaron White, Jordan Lewis, A.T., + Parker Louis

It’s been a few years, Columbus. Our arms are wide open.

In just 4 days, T.Wong returns to the stage for an exclusive performance at . Alongside him — Aaron White on keys, Parker Louis on guitar, Jordan Lewis on drums, and Aaron Thomas on bass.

This is a night of soul, rock, R&B, and the genre T.Wong has never let anyone define for him. He describes the experience simply:

”All I can hope is a pure experience emerges. One where all who are present can lose themselves to themselves.”

After his set, the night keeps going. T.Wong kicks off BAM Thursdays at CMA — galleries open after hours, live music, libations, bites.

Do you feel inspired?

That’s the only question has ever needed to ask from a stage.

He’s a lawyer by day. A musician by choice. And he doesn’t perform unless the room is ready to receive something real.

You’re invited to be in that room.

T.Wong and his band — on keys, Jordan Lewis on drums, Aaron Thomas on bass, and on guitar — take the stage live at the Columbus Museum of Art on May 28. The official kickoff of BAM Thursdays.

The conversation moved beyond music into identity, heritage, and lived experience. Students had the chance to speak directly with a profound artist, to learn and bring their own perspectives to the table.

When we bring artists to Columbus, we bring them further than the stage. And for that, we are grateful.

Thank you to the Frank W. Hale Cultural Center, Milena, and everyone who showed up for this impactful conversation. 🎶

As you can hear, the whole room sang.
casado didn’t just perform for the audience.
She pulled them in.

Jazz fans, newcomers, friends, family, people from all backgrounds.

Moments like this get to happen because you keep coming back. 🎺

T. Wong (Tee-wän) — a name you already know, or one you’re about to.

Some voices you hear once and forget.
T.Wong is not that.

Dynamic by nature. Singular in delivery. The kind of artist who makes a room recalibrate — not by demanding attention, but by earning it, note by note. He is not new to this — crowds of 20,000, stages alongside Grammy-nominated artists, a presence that has already outgrown every label put on it. Ohio’s rising star doesn’t quite cover it anymore.

We’re bringing him to Columbus Museum of Art on Thursday, May 28, and we want you there.

Bring someone. Bring a few people. This is the kind of night you’ll want witnesses for.

What an honor. ✨

The young women of the Beauty of African American Culture Club (BAACC) at Columbus School for Girls selected A Tribe for Jazz as the beneficiary of proceeds from their upcoming Soul Food Fest 2026 — and we don't take that lightly.

Students leading. Culture centered. Collective impact built from the inside out. That's the kind of partnership we'll always show up for.

The BAACC student group presents Soul Food Fest 2026 on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5–7 PM at Columbus School for Girls. Dinner catered by Off Da Grill, along with music, games, and more.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12. At-the-door tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12.

See you May 14.
