RESCUEDohio We are a foster-based rescue out of Columbus, OH and serve homeless dogs by finding compatible homes. RESCUEDohio is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

Our purpose is to provide aid and support in the total care of abused, neglected, and unwanted animals and to ultimately find them loving forever homes. We are able to accomplish our goal through the generosity of tax-deductible donations. We are 100% volunteer organization. RESCUEDohio is a foster-based dog rescue. Rosemary would like you to know that she is, in fact, a very sweet puppy.

Unfortunately, she sometimes forgets to mention that when meeting new people.

See, Rosemary's ideal introduction is less "OMG HI NICE TO MEET YOU!" and more "Please allow me 5-7 business days to evaluate your intentions.”

She's initially suspicious of strangers and may need some time to warm up during meet-and-greets, but once you've been approved by the Rosemary Committee, you'll unlock a completely different dog.

Suddenly, she's climbing into your lap, demanding belly rubs, following you around the house, and acting like you've been best friends forever. This girl LOVES her people. Snuggles? Yes. Head scratches? Absolutely. Falling asleep on you? Her favorite hobby!

Rosemary is playful, dog-friendly, loves her walks, and has just the right amount of puppy energy. She's not looking for a family that needs an instant best friend or a pal to take to the patio bar. She's looking for a family that wants her undying love and devotion, which she is so ready to give.

Say hello to Margaret Thatcher and the Historical Icon litter!

Mom Maggie is about a year old, 39lbs and we’re guessing she’s a shepherd mix. She’s such a sweet, happy, and friendly lady. 🐶😊

And aren’t her pups just the cutest? Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks, and Amelia Earhart are about 6 weeks old now and we think they will be medium to large size when they’re all grown up. The puppies can start meeting families now and will be able to go home with adopters starting June 6th.

For some reason, Jasper always looks like he’s yelling at kids to get off his lawn. This guy is about 8 years old, prefers a quiet, low key environment, and is not a fan of children. So checks out. 😂 Otherwise, he’s pretty easy going and sweet!

Look who’s coming to our event this Saturday! Basil will be at Yogi’s in Grandview from 1-2pm if you want to meet this guy.

Basil is only about 5 months old and he’s learning all the things. When his foster mom is working from home, he wants to join and he’s at her feet all day. She calls him her little accounting assistant. 🐶

Judah’s coming to our event tomorrow! Will YOU be there? This guy is looking for his furever family and he’d love to meet you 🙂

Judah is a simple boy. He's interested in food, squirrels, and naps, and he's always ready to play! He also loves blankets, is an expert at digging if you need a landscaping assistant, and he cleans his paws when he comes in from outside. 🐾

Who has the cutest little legs, the curliest tail, and the biggest puppy dog eyes? 🥺 That would be Foreman.

He may only be 17lbs, but his personality is larger than life! His tiny legs are only about 2 and half inches long, but this guy is up for any adventure. He loves playing fetch and playing with other dogs, and he would love a fenced-in yard. He would also be ok without a fence as long as he gets enough exercise. Yes, he’s only 17 lbs, but boy has energy!

Foreman also loves attention, likes kids of all ages, and loves pretty much everyone he meets. He even likes cats, but he doesn’t understand that they aren’t interested in being his friend…he’s not aggressive, but we don’t think he should have a cat sibling.
