These are some of the most urgent challenges facing our neighbors. Through our seven unique programs, we provide hope, stability and support to thousands of people across our community every day. The full-service pharmacy at LSS Health Center is now open and available to everyone, not just current Health Center patients. Stop by for convenient, on-site service Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Medicaid and additional insurance plans accepted, with discount options available for uninsured patients.

Columbus City Council held a public hearing yesterday to review the Funding Review Advisory Committee (FRAC) report, which looks at how our community funds essential services.

LSS President and CEO Rachel Lustig spoke during the public comment period. She shared real stories of the people we serve and made one clear plea: predictable, sustainable shelter infrastructure helps public, private and nonprofit partners protect capacity and treat residents and employees with dignity.

Everyone deserves a safe place to stay. Thank you, Rachel, for speaking up for our neighbors. And thank you to Columbus City Council for listening to community members and local leaders.

Our leaders are at the table. 💜 Yesterday, CHOICES Executive Director Bridget DeCrane and LSS President and CEO Rachel Lustig joined community leaders, including Franklin County Prosecutor Shayla D. Favor, for The Big Table domestic violence awareness conversation at Linden Community Center.

Hosted by Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein, Prosecutor Favor and Director Rena Shak with the Columbus Office of Violence Prevention, the event brought partners together to discuss building a safer community for survivors.

🍂 Everyone had a wonderful time at our annual fall harvest fest at LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence! Our kids went apple fishing, chucked pumpkins, took the pumpkin walk and bounced their way through the afternoon.

A special thank-you to Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein who stopped by the shelter to share cornbread, help with bobbing for apples and the musical cake walk and spend time with our families. Zach is a strong champion for justice for domestic violence survivors, and we're grateful he showed up for our families.
