As the Maize Manor Campus takes steps to become Columbus’s first Climate Resilience Hub, participants from all three United Methodist churches onsite took part in a climate resilience exercise led by Sustainable Columbus. This month the Urban Farm Church said goodbye to our AmeriCorps VISTA as she starts on a new adventure in Canada. Nicole was a valued part of the Farm team this past year, taking the lead on initiatives like the Blessing Box, Produce Market, and Farm Stand. Nicole will be greatly missed, but we wish her all the best in her new home!

The orchard is planted! Earth Day brought out a great group of volunteers to dig holes, plant trees, set posts, add fencing, and spread mulch. Now we wait and hope the trees will grow to provide shade and produce fruit!
