Dear Community,
Regarding the recent Facebook statement about the Numidian Americans Association of Ohio, I want to clarify that the issue mentioned is not related to the nonprofit organization but is an internal matter within Iron Mountains Entertainment LLC.
This situation has nothing to do with any financial dispute or issue.
The situation began just two days before the Said Youcef and Noria concert in Columbus, following a small misunderstanding or a small misinterpretation in the airport over event arrangements that unfortunately escalated despite multiple attempts, including external mediation to resolve it peacefully. What followed was marked by unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, creating stress for our guest, myself, and everyone involved. At that point, all boundaries had been crossed, and for me, the matter was closed before the concert, from there, any final meeting in any configuration was no longer possible.
With only 24 hours left and no sound system, the entire project was at risk. People need to know that at that moment, our team and Said Youcef were deeply concerned for the audience families and guests from Columbus, and many traveling from out of state. Fortunately, Paul and his company, Peace Sound and Light LLC, stepped in, rescheduled his own event, and saved ours with professionalism and generosity. We are truly grateful.
While I regret how things unfolded, I remain committed to avoiding any further escalation. However, accountability and clarification remain essential. We firmly believe that before being accountable to anyone else, we must first be accountable to our own conscience.
The company matter is expected to be resolved by mid to late December. We have never taken a single penny from anyone that was not ours.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Sincerely,
Zine E. Airouche
President, Numidian Americans Association of Ohio
