The first QUEENS AND SISTERS BRUNCH was a wonderful successful event. Thanks to all who purchased tickets, whether you were able to attend or not. Our host Heather Green did a phenomenal job in catering and holding this event in her beautiful home.
Thanks to all who have shown an interest and dedication in wanting to help impoverished senior women with housing assistance worldwide. Queens and Sisters Organization (Q&S) has almost completed its first housing project for an elderly woman called Aunty Fatou who lives in the Gambia located in West Africa. She is the first Q&S recipient to have a safe, sound, sustainable and secure home built with the help grassroots donations. Everyday people who's hearts were touched, who took action and they reached out to help someone in desperate need.
This home replaces the deteriorated and crumbling house that was detrimental for both her health and safety. This video is from 4 weeks ago. She has now begun to move her things in. We are now requesting donations to help with purchasing and installing solar panels for lights and electricity.
We will continue to keep everyone updated on progress. See our website at queensandsister.org/progress . All donations purchase materials, supplies and labor.
