• Practical advocacy skills you can immediately implement
• Clear frameworks for engaging in policy and systems change
• Confidence to engage strategically — individually and collaboratively

🌟 Celebrating collaboration in Pickaway County for ! 🌟

We’re shining a spotlight on the Pickaway County Community Foundation for driving meaningful change through their 2025 Beef Project, which delivered over 6,100 lbs. of high-quality beef to local nonprofits working to tackle food insecurity.

Through a collaboration of community donors, volunteers and youth, the beef was distributed to 12 organizations across Circleville, Williamsport, Orient and Ashville to help families facing food access challenges.

By leveraging local resources and investing in local infrastructure of both the food system and the people behind it, the foundation is making a tangible difference in the lives of neighbors and the well-being of the wider community.

🌟 Highlighting Community Impact for 🌟

Our member, Barberton Community Foundation , has stepped up for its neighbors, working to meet urgent food access needs.

Over the past several weeks, their team has been working diligently to mobilize resources through their Emergency Response Pass-Through Fund, which was initially established during the COVID-19 pandemic to support nonprofits quickly and flexibly. The foundation is putting dollars right back into the community where they are most needed by providing financial support and sharing information about eight local food distribution sites. They are also partnering with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to ensure these sites remain adequately stocked.

By strengthening both local food distribution sites and their primary food source, the Barberton Community Foundation is tackling food insecurity from multiple angles, effectively meeting the moment and making a meaningful difference.
