Today, we commemorate Juneteenth — a day to honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice for Black communities across the country. It’s a time to reflect, celebrate the impact of Black Americans, and recognize the strength that comes from unity.

At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity and support to reach her full potential. We’re dedicated to building spaces where joy, connection, and community can grow for girls from all backgrounds.

As we honor this pivotal day in U.S. history, we recommit to a future that is inclusive and equitable.

At Girls on the Run Central Ohio, we know the first step can be daunting; but with the help of amazing runners, walkers, and community members any goal (like completing a 5K!) can be achieved.
