Last chance to register for Turn Huntington Park Teal which is scheduled for June 7th at 1:00. We have to turn in final numbers to Huntington Park no later than 5/26 so we will not be able to add registrations after that date. Please go to ocao.org to register. The cost is free for survivors and $25 for any guests. You can bring as many guests as you like. The cost includes meal and tickets for game.

Our mission is to promote early detection of ovarian cancer with advocacy, education, awareness, and public outreach to improve outcomes and help save lives. We also work to support women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer as well as their family members.

I want to thank our supporters and their family and friends for supporting Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio. I truly appreciate each of you for helping OCAO. For me I support this great cause in my daughter, Amy’s memory. Without our supporters and fundraising efforts, we would not be able to provide the programs and services that mean so much to ovarian cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
This organization does so much through Survivor Celebrations, Educational Events, Advocacy, Awareness, and Financial Aid for ovarian cancer patients. Your generosity and support help make all of this possible.
My goal is to educate everyone that a PAP test does not detect ovarian cancer. This horrible disease can affect any woman. Knowing the symptoms, listening to your body, and raising awareness are so important.

Today, May 8th is World Ovarian Cancer Day.
For 2026, the coalition is urging everyone to help raise awareness and share information about the disease to ensure no woman is left behind in receiving quality care.

THE OVARIAN CANCER ALLIANCE OF OHIO (OCAO) IS AN ADVOCATE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY OVARIAN CANCER
Our mission is to promote early detection of ovarian cancer with advocacy, education, awareness, and public outreach to improve outcomes and help save lives. We also work to support women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer as well as their family members.

Our vision is to have the best volunteer workforce that embraces our core values and mission. We work with people touched by ovarian cancer to help communicate our mission. Our brand is based on integrity and credibility. Our plan is to grow by welcoming more volunteers for committee positions and organization events. Our fundraising success allows us to meet our strategic plan, vision and mission.
