Wishing our community a meaningful Memorial Day.

Today we pause to honor the men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and for the families who carry that legacy forward.

Last weekend at Spring Fling, we joined the City of Upper Arlington, Ohio - Government, City of Upper Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, and the Upper Arlington Historical Society to unveil brand new historical signs at the Amelita Mirolo Barn ; and it was a moment worth marking!

The Amelita Mirolo Barn holds a special place in our Foundation's history as our very first capital campaign project, and today it's a space the whole community gets to enjoy year-round. A special thank you to our Executive Director Jessica Grisez and past Executive Director Sue Ralph for their remarks. Stop by Sunny 95 Park and check out the new signs!

Leadership UA had a strong month in April, with two sessions focused on leadership, community, and education!

On April 9, Dr. Nanette Lacuesta-Kimmel, UA Community Foundation Board Member and Assistant Program Director for Family Medicine Residency at OhioHealth, spoke with the class about inclusive leadership and the importance of creating spaces where every voice is heard.

On April 23, the cohort visited Upper Arlington High School for an evening focused on education, hearing from district leaders, learning more about the work of the Upper Arlington Education Foundation, and touring the high school.

Thank you to all of our April speakers for sharing your insight, experience, and time with this year’s Leadership UA class!

Thank you Upper Arlington Civic Association and Upper Arlington Historical Society for bringing our community together yesterday to celebrate a big milestone! 🇺🇸

The Upper Arlington Community Foundation is proud to play a part in the Upper Arlington Historical Society work of preserving and sharing our city’s story by providing grants for local preservation and archival efforts that help protect UA’s rich history for future generations.

We had a wonderful time reflecting on 100 years of Fourth of July celebrations here in UA and hearing the stories behind the neighborhoods and floats that make this tradition so special. Congratulations Upper Arlington Civic Association, here's to a 100 more! 💛

Heart of UA was a great reminder of what makes this community strong. On Sunday, we had the opportunity to recognize community individuals whose contributions truly make a difference.

Congratulations to our 2026 Heart of UA Award recipients, Lisa Ingram and Greg Guy, and to our inaugural Changemaker Award recipients, Annie Stair, Jim Stair (Red Oak Family Foundation), and Meg Hall (Beehive Alliance). Each represents the kind of commitment and community leadership that helps Upper Arlington thrive.

Thank you to our sponsors for helping make this event possible, and to everyone who joined us and continues to support the Community Foundation. Your involvement helps us invest back into the community in meaningful ways!

This Sunday, we’re proud to celebrate two incredible champions of our community, Lisa Ingram and Greg Guy, as this year’s Heart of UA honorees.

Their impact across Upper Arlington and greater Columbus speaks volumes. From Greg’s leadership with the Upper Arlington Community Foundation to their shared role in bringing beloved spaces like the Amelita Mirolo Barn and Bob Crane Community Center to life, their impact can be seen in the places and moments that mean the most to our community.

Their service extends even further through organizations like The Columbus Foundation, OhioHealth, YPO Columbus, and Pelotonia.

We look forward to celebrating the difference they continue to make in UA and Central Ohio on Sunday. 💛💛💛
