Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue, Inc. Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue was incorporated in June 2003. Our goal is promote greyhound adoption in the Central Ohio.

We are a nonprofit all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) organization that relies solely on fundraising and donations to continue our work. COGR is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization that works with racetracks and other rescue organizations to find adoptive homes for retired racing Greyhounds. We rely entirely on foster homes to help our hounds make that transition to retirement life in a home environment. We WILL take in non-racing Greyhounds and Lurchers in need, if we have available foster homes. We strive to make the best possible match for each hound and adoptive home. Because we are entirely volunteer operated, we will ONLY place our hounds in homes within the Central Ohio area. We operate solely on generous donations from our supporters and a few fundraisers each year.
