Silhouette Stages is a non-profit theater organization in Howard County, Maryland. We produce three productions each season, and several community cabaret nights. Silhouette Stages was recently named Best Community Theater in Greater Baltimore by MD Theatre Guide. Our productions are funded in part by grants from The Howard County Arts Council, The Howard County Government, and The Maryland State Arts Council.

Two weeks left to get your virtual audition in for our Artists Cabaret! We are looking for a variety of acts to include singers, dancers, musicians, comedy acts, etc. Performers must be between 6 and 18 years old. Only 20 acts will be selected. If you would like to submit a virtual audition for the cabaret, please complete the audition form by September 1.

We are now accepting nominations for this year's Brian Best award. This award was named in honor of Brian Best, who was passionate about and committed to the performing arts in Howard County. Brian passed away in 2011 and this award was established with the support of his wife, Rhonda. It's awarded annually to volunteers who make significant and outstanding contributions to Silhouette Stages. Know someone who has made a real difference over the past year? Nominate them on the Brian Best page on our website. Nominations are due by September 1.

Silhouette Stages is thrilled to announce the newest member of our board; Delaney Gregg is joining us as Social Media Coordinator!

Delaney most recently was Assistant Director for Silhouette’s production of American Idiot and was Dramaturg for both American Idiot and The Crucible. She also performed in Silhouette’s productions of The Crucible and Puffs. Before joining Silhouette, she volunteered as the Director of Public Relations for Wildwood Summer Theatre, where she also volunteered as a Public Relations Associate and Associate Dramaturg. Her theatre experience extends behind the scenes as well with work in scenic painting and design, props, costume design, and stage photography.

🎭 2027 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎭

We are bringing three iconic musicals to Columbia, MD:

✨ The Prom, directed by Ashley Gerhardt (March 2027)

🍸 The Wild Party, directed by Lauren Hampton (June 2027)

🥖 Les Misérables, directed by Henry Cyr (October 2027)

Heart, drama, and epic anthems—you won't want to miss a single show of our 2027 Season: Journey to Redemption. 🎟️
