Due to the inclement weather, we have made the decision to reschedule Howard County Pride for November 1, 2026. We know that you were all very excited to join us this weekend to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and hope that you will all be able to join us on the new date.

It is extremely important to all of us at the Inner Arbor Trust and HoCo Pride to ensure that you, our performers, our vendors, and our staff are able to safely participate and enjoy the event. Unfortunately, with the amount of rain predicted, we can not do that on Sunday.

We hope to see you on November 1 in better weather!

Grassroots is doing critical work every day to help our community. Visit their booth at Pride to learn how you can be a part of that work.

You can save a life! Visit the Grassroots booth at several upcoming events to receive free Narcan and training!

This medication offers a simple way to reverse an opioid overdose. Anyone can use it to save the life of a friend, neighbor or community member. Make it part of your first-aid kit!

You can visit the Grassroots crisis center at 8990 Old Annapolis Road, Suite A in Columbia to pick up your Narcan and receive your training (it only takes a few minutes), or you can visit us at one these upcoming events:

Meet a few of the amazing organizations in Howard County that work to build a stronger community! You can say hi to all of them on Sunday at the Howard County Pride Festival!

Stop by to learn direct actions you can take to push back on this administration and the harm they are causing the community and the country. There will be information about No Kings, the elections, and maybe something small and fun to enjoy. luminus provides immigration legal services to refugees, asylum seekers, and other immigrants at nonprofit rates in central Maryland. There are an estimated 984,800 LGBT foreign-born adults living in the U.S. Undocumented LGBT immigrants are more often male and are young compared to all undocumented immigrants. Luminus stands with q***r immigrants.
empowers youth through long-term mentoring relationships, engaging programs, and a supportive community.
Howard County's Court Appointed Special Advocate Program trains and supervises community volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children in foster care in Howard County.

🌈 We Want YOU in the Rainbow Pride Parade!

We are excited to invite everyone to be part of our First Annual Rainbow Pride Parade!

Vendors, exhibitors, community partners, organizations, clubs, and guests are all invited to join us in making this a vibrant celebration of our diverse Pride community.

Whether you are marching, carrying a flag, walking with your organization, wearing an inflatable, dressing in your best rainbow outfit, or simply joining in the celebration—we want you there! And yes, furries are welcome!

Every individual who wants to participate must complete their own application.

What You Can (and Cannot) Bring?
Bring your rainbow clothing, flags, signs, banners, cardboard floats, costumes, inflatables, decorated strollers, wagons, carts, Pride gear, and community spirit! Furries are welcome!

A few important guidelines:
* All parade participants are expected to walk, with the exception of children in strollers and guests using mobility aids.
* Parade items must be no more than 3 feet wide.
* Pets, motorized vehicles, scooters, bikes, trikes, and other wheeled recreational vehicles are not permitted.
* Signs containing hate speech or electioneering materials (including signs, stickers, or campaign literature) are not permitted in the parade.
* Participants may wear candidate shirts, stickers, and pins.

Check-In & Parade Information
Check-in: 11:00–11:30 a.m.
Check-in will close at 11:30 a.m.
Parade begins: Promptly at 12:00 p.m.

Please arrive in time to check in and receive your parade number. Your assigned number will determine your position in the parade.

The parade will begin following the reading of the names at the Trans Memorial (located at the parade check-in location) and will end at the Chrysalis Stage.

There will also be a monitored storage area for parade materials at the volunteer booth following the parade.

Join us at HoCo Pride as we come together to remember and honor the transgender individuals we have lost over the past year.

The Trans Memorial will be open throughout the day, offering a quiet space to reflect, view photos, learn about the individuals we remember, and honor their lives and legacies.

At 11:30 AM, we will gather for the 'Reading of the Names' a time to collectively mourn, remember, and honor those who are no longer with us.

Whether you join us for the reading or visit the memorial at another time during the day, we invite you to take a moment, learn their stories, and remember with us.

We remember. We honor. We will not forget.
