We’ve been up to some cool stuff around the state lately- from planning a fall festival, merging technology & clay, building ovens, planning rebuilds, and so much more! I’m excited to continue help supporting resilience in communities.

If you’d like to learn how to build an earthen oven this fall, we are launching a (free) course in collaboartion with the Wood-Fired Community on Skool starting August 15th, as well as facilitating several workshops in October to help you refine your skills. Great for non-profits, farms, churches, schools, co-ops, etc. We will even be hosting an oven building challenge October 6-10th! You can find out more here:

I recently got to help with the newest project at Seneca Treehouse Project & Treehouse Trade School which is, of course, an earthen oven! We dug, sifted, mixed, filled, stacked, tamped, barbed, and earthbagged the day away! Video highlights some work we did, as well as a different foundation variation from another project this Spring.

Thank you Lord for this journey where I get to connect with you, Creation, and community on such an epic scale.

We are hosting a Farmer’s Market right here at Following SEAS beginning March 21st!

The goal for the market is to connect the community with services & product retailers that are in alignment with our core values: Stewardship, Service, Community, & Simplicity.

Our desire is to see you flourish in physical vitality, mental wellness, and meaningful connection to one another, as well as the land and animals the Creator has blessed us to steward.

The Market will have vendors (youth welcome), live music, lawn games, open hiking trails, samples of our store favorites, and more!

When: Every 1st & 3rd Saturday, 1pm-6pm, begins March 21st.
