🧠❤️ Mental health is a part of your HIV care.

Living with HIV means caring for your whole self—mind, body, and spirit. Taking time to check in with your mental health is not a luxury; it’s an essential part of your wellness journey.

✨ Remember to take care of yourself.
✨ Give yourself grace.
✨ Reach out for support when you need it.
✨ Prioritize your peace.

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health!

❤️ Today, we honor the resilience, strength, and leadership of those who have lived through decades of the HIV epidemic.

On HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, we celebrate the pioneers, advocates, caregivers, and survivors whose stories continue to inspire hope and fuel progress.

Your legacy matters. Your voice matters. Your life matters.

Did you know that when someone with HIV takes their medication as prescribed and their virus becomes undetectable, it’s unlikely they will pass it to someone else? That’s what Undetectable=Untransmittable (U=U) is all about!

Taking the right medicine reduces the amount of virus in the body so much that it stops the virus from spreading to others. So, not only does it improve their health, but it also keeps their partners safe!

Help us spread the word about U=U, and let’s break down HIV stigma! Go to locator.hiv.gov for local resources, testing centers, and to get access to treatment and care!

🌟 Wednesday 🌟

Knowledge is power, and understanding your HIV status is an important step toward taking control of your health and wellness. 💙

This week reminds us that HIV testing works by detecting either:
🔹 Antibodies your body produces in response to HIV
🔹 Or the virus itself through advanced testing methods

Getting tested helps you make informed decisions, access care early, and protect both yourself and others. There is no shame in knowing your status—only strength in it. 🙌🏾

📌 Stay informed. Stay empowered. Stay Beyond Our Status.

This , remember that every death from and is connected to stigma.

We have treatments for HIV, but no one has found a foolproof treatment for stigma.

And yet we persist. Because it is the right thing to do, because we’ve come too far to give up, because we honor those who came before us, and because:

If we stop stigma, we will stop HIV.

📢 Today is National HIV/AIDS & Aging Awareness Day!

Beyond Our Status honors the resilience, wisdom, and lived experiences of older adults living with HIV. Aging with HIV is not just about surviving—it’s about thriving, building community, and demanding justice.

But let’s be clear: the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on HIV funding, healthcare access, and equity programs place our elders at risk. These policies threaten the progress we’ve fought decades to achieve.

We refuse to go backwards.

Today, we call on YOU to:
🔴 Speak out against harmful cuts to HIV services and aging programs.
🟠 Support community-based organizations fighting for those aging with HIV.
🟡 Advocate for healthcare equity, especially for Black, Brown, LGBTQ+, and older populations most impacted.
🟢 Stand in solidarity with long-term survivors whose voices must not be silenced.

Our elders remind us that aging with HIV is possible. Our duty is to make sure it’s possible with dignity, access, and justice.

✊🏾 Together, we will stop HIV and fight for a future where no one is left behind—no matter their age.
