ABATE of SC Cayce-West Columbia (CWC) Chapter meets the last Sunday of each month at 1:57PM at Bogarts Restaurant 2710 Emanuel Church Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170. All people and all bikes, trikes, Spyder's, etc are welcome. You don't have to own a motorcycle to be a member. ABATE of South Carolina Cayce West Columbia is a local chapter of ABATE of South Carolina. ABATE of South Carolina, Inc. is t

he Motorcyclists’ Rights Organization (MRO) of South Carolina. Our members brought freedom of choice to South Carolina bikers in June of 1980; ABATE amended South Carolina’s mandatory motorcycle helmet law to allow adult freedom of choice. ABATE stands for A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments. Our philosophy is to defend liberty; while we do not oppose safety devices we oppose laws that mandate the usage of devices.

As many of you already know, our media coordinator, Michael Bradshaw was in a serious bike accident yesterday. Witnesses say the person that hit him rolled through the stop sign! He is going to be up against a very long recovery. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers!
