Staff Success Spotlight: Slavic Village Development is proud to celebrate Tuba Baloglu, Director of Commercial Development, for earning her Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certification through Grow America! 👏

She started the four-course EDFP Certification Program in November 2025 and participated in real-world projects to cover business credit, real estate finance analysis, loan packaging, negotiation, problem solving, and deal structuring topics—the financial skills needed to turn development opportunities into meaningful results for communities. She looks forward to applying her knowledge while supporting our local entrepreneurs, strengthening business & real estate projects, and bringing new investment and economic opportunities to Slavic Village!

Just today, Tuba is also starting the Community Development Corporation Leadership Program (CDCLP) through the Mandel Foundation; a year-long program designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and capacity of current and future staff and board leaders of our Cleveland CDCs.

Please join us in congratulating Tuba on these great professional achievements, and wishing her luck with CDCLP! 🎉
