We believe people working together have the power to change Greater Cleveland for the better.

Greater Cleveland Congregations (GCC) is a non-partisan coalition of faith communities and partner organizations in Cuyahoga County working together to build power for social justice. GCC unites people across lines of race, class, religion, and geography to promote public, private and civic sector actions which strengthen and improve the quality of life of our neighborhoods. We will challenge Clevelanders to imagine the change we can accomplish, connect individuals and organizations to multiply our power, and mobilize our members by the thousands to make our voices heard. We will set audacious goals, create savvy strategies—and, if necessary, take on the powerful interests that stand in the way. Drawing on the proven power of person-to-person organizing, we will build the power necessary to create a Greater Cleveland.

📢 ISSUE 11: HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES LEVY INFORMATION SESSION

What is Issue 11, and what would it mean for Cuyahoga County?

Join Greater Cleveland Congregations for a virtual information session to learn about the proposed Health and Human Services Levy, including what it would fund, how much it would cost homeowners, and which county services could be affected.

GCC SUPPORTS ISSUE 11

GCC supports Issue 11, the Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services Levy.

Our faith traditions call us to care for our neighbors, protect the vulnerable, and build a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

At a time when federal cuts threaten essential services, we believe Cuyahoga County must protect the programs that support children, seniors, working families, and people facing hardship.

On November 3, vote YES on Issue 11.

At our recent Judge Candidate Action, people from across Cuyahoga County and across Faith traditions came together around a shared belief when diverse communities organize organized together we can make a positive impact on the issues affecting our neighbors.

That power extends far beyond one action or one issue.

Greater Cleveland Congregations brings together people of different faiths, backgrounds, neighborhoods and experiences to build relationships, develop leaders and take action on issues that matter to our communities.
