REMINDER!

Join us this Wednesday, October 14th for our annual tour of Alger Cemetery in partnership with the West Park Historical Society at 6pm.

We will meet in the Kamm's Corners Farmers Market parking lot (16906 Albers Ave) and walk over to the cemetery as a group.

This will be our last Alger Cemetery walk for the foreseeable future. Our gracious host Ross Bassett has decided to step back from leading the walk. We encourage you to come and thank Ross for being such a lively storyteller these past few years.

In the event of heavy rain, the walk will be held on October 21st instead. Check back here for updates.

The 5th Annual Dog Costume Contest at Kamm's Corners Farmers Market in partnership with West Park Animal Hospital is this Sunday, October 18th! This is also our last market of the regular season.

Dress up your pup for a chance to win great prizes from our generous donors: Paws Cleveland, Style Mutt Dog Boutique, Pet's General Store & West Park Animal Hospital!

Make sure you register your dog by 12:30!

Looking for a fun and spooky evening right here in West Park? Haggerty's Haunt on Hipple is once again open this October offering candy, frights, and delights! 👻

West Park resident, Joe Haggerty, invites you and your family to his haunted yard leading to a frightening maze through his garage and backyard. The address is 19601 Hipple Ave. Admission is free, but he is accepting donations to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The maze will be open from 7pm-10pm on October 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 31! 🎃

West Park Kamm's Neighborhood Development would like to welcome Monica Minissale to our Board of Directors!

Monica M. Minissale is a healthcare operations executive with more than 30 years of experience serving in various capacities across the healthcare industry. She currently serves as Senior Director of Hospital Operations at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, where she provides executive leadership for a broad portfolio of operational functions that support the hospital’s daily performance, patient experience, and strategic priorities.

When asked why she wants to join the board, Monica replied, "...I believe strong neighborhoods are built through partnership, engagement, and a shared commitment to community. Throughout my career in healthcare, I have seen how important it is for organizations to work together in support of the people they take care of. West Park is also personal to me. I grew up in the neighborhood, so joining the board is a meaningful opportunity to give back to a community that has always been an important part of my life." What she loves most about West Park is the strong sense of community, its deep roots, proud residents through many generations, and the spirit of connection. She also loves how the neighborhood continues to grow and evolve while still holding onto the character that makes it so special. Her favorite spots in West Park include West Park Station, Public House, and PJ McIntyre's.

Calling all Holiday Lights enthusiasts! Registration is officially open for our 2026 Deck the Homes Tour and holiday lights contest. Help us light up West Park this December and show off your decorating skills!

How it Works: All Ward 15 residents are invited to register to be an official stop on the tour. We’ll drop off a sign for your yard the week of Thanksgiving identifying you as a participating home. Our team will create maps for community members to use to guide themselves through the neighborhood and vote for their favorite decorations. The top three homes will receive a prize.

Decorations should be in place December 1-31 while the voting window is open.
