☀️ What a way to close out WOW! ☀️

Wednesday night was everything we love about Wade Oval Wednesdays: incredible music, amazing energy, smiling faces, dancing, great food, and a community coming together to enjoy a beautiful summer evening.

🎶 Nasir Wilson set the tone, and Da Land Brass Band brought the house down with the perfect high-energy finale! 🎺🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the season and made Wade Oval feel like home every Wednesday. And to our incredible partners, sponsors, performers, food vendors, volunteers, and staff: thank you for helping make WOW! 2026 unforgettable.

A favorite University Circle space is getting some thoughtful care. 🏦

The The Cleveland Museum of Art is beginning a major restoration of the historic Fine Arts Garden, with improvements designed to preserve its historic character while making it accessible and welcoming for years to come.

Construction begins August 24, but the museum, Wade Lagoon and other surrounding spaces will remain open. And good news for spring: the project is not expected to disrupt cherry blossom season. 🌸

WEATHER DELAY FOR TONIGHT’S WOW
Wednesday, August 12, 2026

A storm system is heading our way, and we expect lightning strikes from 4-6pm with potentially heavy rain from 4:15 to 4:45pm. It looks clear after 6:00pm.

Our current plan is to delay the start of WOW and run the show from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. That gives vendors time to safely set up from 6-7pm.

If the Oval is flooded or the rain continues longer than expected, we will cancel. Expect another update around 5 or 5:30pm.

Cleveland’s own Quenton “Que” Rubin is a world-class guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who has shared the stage with some of music’s biggest names. Now, Que is bringing his own band to Wade Oval for an evening of grooves, soulful funk, rock, and blues.

🌎✨ What a way to celebrate the world at Wade Oval Wednesday! ✨🌎

From the vibrant sounds of Son Gitano to the incredible energy of Black Beanz and Pacific Paradise Entertainment , this week’s International Night brought music, culture, and community together in a major way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening filled with dancing, amazing local food, and unforgettable moments. Seeing families, friends, and neighbors celebrating together is what Wade Oval Wednesdays is all about.

A special thank you to our partners Cleveland Cultural Gardens , Cuyahoga Community College Calhoun Funeral Home & Cremation Service Cleveland Public Library and LOVE CLEVELAND NEIGHBORHOODS for helping make the evening so memorable.
