🚲 Ride the Harrison Dillard Trail & help shape its future.
Join neighbors, cyclists, and community members for a relaxed ride along the Harrison Dillard Trail on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM–12 PM.
The approximately 7.5-mile round trip will travel through the Cultural Gardens, Rockefeller Park, and University Circle, with stops along the way to connect, enjoy a snack, and share ideas about the trail and its future.
All ages and riding abilities are welcome, and trained Bike Cleveland volunteers will help lead the ride. Don’t have a bike? Bird is providing bikes free of charge for riders who need one.
Come ride, connect, and make your voice part of the conversation. 💚

The Underground Railroad Gathering was a packed-out, family-friendly celebration of history, music, and community, and a perfect day for the festivities. The gathering honored the courage of freedom seekers and those who aided them, bringing Ohio’s Underground Railroad stories to life through performances, interpretation, and storytelling.
The program featured drummer Ade Olomo and emcee Robert Ferguson, formerly of the Call & Post and a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Prester Pickett of Cleveland State University’s Mims African American Cultural Center presented on Charles Langston and John Malvin.
The second program included Darnell Weaver performing on viola and through dance, and Pastor Sharone Sing, board chair of the Hubbard House Underground Railroad Museum, reading the Harriet Newby letter. Carol Lasser, executive director of the Wilson Bruce Evans House in Oberlin, introduced Justin Emeka of Oberlin College. Together, these contributions made for a memorable gathering for visitors of all ages.

The 2026–27 season marks Franz Welser-Möst’s 25th and final season as Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra.
Over the course of 25 seasons, his leadership has shaped countless performances, memories, and moments for audiences in Cleveland and around the world. This final season offers an opportunity to experience the music and reflect on the chapter he has shared with the Orchestra.

Join us at the State of the Circle. Doors open at 4:30, so come early and settle in. At 5:00, we'll run through the program and awards. Promptly, at 6:00PM, the real celebration kicks off: a two-hour reception with great food and drinks from Spice Catering and three live experiences keeping you engaged all night.

You'll hear performances from Cleveland Institute of Music Students some of the most talented classical music students in the world. In addition, Rick Smith Jr an 8-time Guinness World Record holder, will bring jaw-dropping card throws and unforgettable illusions. Lastly, Yves Santana a multimedia portrait artist whose work explores identity, resilience, and the emotional experiences that shape who we become, will be creating character portraits live in his signature style.

We're a 2026 Trail Grant recipient! With this , we'll be able to fund a study to improve and modernize the Harrison Dillard Trail, Cleveland's oldest bikeway. Named for a Black Clevelander and four-time Olympic gold medalist, the trail connects Lake Erie to the Shaker Lakes through the heart of University Circle.
