☀️ HEAT ADVISORY FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10 ☀️

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Northwest Ohio from Noon to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10.

🌡️ Temperatures are expected to reach the low 90s, with heat index values feeling as hot as 100°F.

High heat and humidity can increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, especially for older adults, young children, and those with health conditions.
Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water. Dehydration can happen quickly in hot weather.

Stay safe by:
💧 Drinking plenty of water
🏠 Staying in air-conditioned spaces when possible
👒 Wearing light-colored, loose-fitting clothing
⏰ Limiting outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day
📞 Checking in on family, friends, and neighbors

🎉 ASC3 will be attending the 36th Annual Senior Day hosted by the Cleveland Department of Aging! 🎉

Join us on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Cleveland Public Hall for this FREE community event celebrating older adults throughout Cleveland and the surrounding area. 💙

Stop by the ASC3 table to learn more about our free technology classes, digital literacy programs, online safety resources, and community support services for seniors!

ASC3 would like to thank the Cleveland Police First District and everyone who participated in our Coffee with a Cop event at our West Side location on Thursday!

It was a wonderful opportunity for our seniors, community members, and local officers to come together, share resources, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations in a welcoming environment.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Seeds of Literacy and the City of Cleveland Community Relations Board for taking the time to speak with our seniors and share valuable community resources and information.

We appreciate all of the officers, representatives, and community partners who helped strengthen connections through open discussion, education, and support.

Events like these remind us that learning, communication, and community engagement can make a real difference.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success!
