Indeed. Steve's Folk Radio Show wishes his Bobness positively one too many tangled 85th birthday wishes today, Monday, on WRUW, 91.1fm in the CLE, streaming at wruw.org. Bassist Carlo De Rosa is a veteran of both the New York and Miami jazz scenes. The Michigan native performed on Yo-Yo Ma’s 2009 Grammy award winning album Songs of Joy and Peace and two other Grammy nominated albums. For this trio performance, he’s joined by Grammy winning pianist Luis Perdomo, whose work with Miguel Zenon has yielded 12 albums, and drummer and composer Adam Cruz, who has recorded and toured with Chick Corea and Origin. From April 4, 2025, it's the Carlo DeRosa trio - Live at the Bop Stop.

Known mostly for Techno, Ian always mixed many genres in his set to take you on a journey! Indianapolis based guitarist Charlie Ballentine returns to our stage and to our program – this time in front of a live audience.
Charlie released the album East by Midwest in 2024 and performs selections from it on this episode. Featuring Charlie Ballentine (guitar), Quinn Sternberg (bass) and Paul Wells (drums) - from April 10th, 2025, it’s the Charlie Ballentine Trio, Live at the Bop Stop.
