It is easy to get excited for the cold weather bringing fall activities, holidays, and the end of a year. We at NEOCH are preparing for the cold weather and opening our Navigation Center to more people come winter.

We are reaching out to our community to help us feed the guests that stay in our shelter. We are going to need more support as the weather gets colder and colder and we begin to open our doors to more people.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to play a critical leadership role in creating a safe, welcoming, and effective environment where individuals experiencing homelessness can access shelter, stabilization, and pathways to permanent housing.

A lot of outreach depends on the trust you can build between our outreach workers and folks on the street. Metro worked to build that trust and treat people where they are both mentally and physically.

“You know how we talk about ‘it takes a village’? It really does. “It’s not just the professionals in the healthcare community but it’s also critical to work with our community-based organizations,” Dr. Adebambo said.

The five-year program will train medical residents to deliver primary care, addiction treatment, and portable diagnostics directly to unhoused individuals across Cuyahoga County.

“The sheer perseverance and persistence of that man is incredible,” Quarles said. “I can’t explain how important that is. There’s no policy expert, there’s no organizer with a strategic plan, there’s nothing that compares to that type of persistence.”

Thanks to Anderson's persistence and justice, we are able to see Tanisha's Law in effect in Cleveland and begin to see its impact on our community. Read more to see Tanisha's family and their fight to get justice.

It took over a decade and a growing group of allies to pass Tanisha's law. Her uncle Michael Anderson's quiet persistence helped drive them.

Thank you to the Cove Community Center for raising money and donating over $1,000 towards NEOCH! Students in their H2O program were able to stall using spare change for a cause. We at NEOCH are excited that students chose our work as the cause! Thanks to this donation, we will be able to support guests at our new navigation center!
